Who's responsible

IT Monsters Ltd (company number 15861270) is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Registered office: 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. What we collect

Order information — your name, email address, delivery address and order details.
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe (and by Klarna if you choose it). We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card; we never receive or store your full card number.
Correspondence — messages you send us by email or WhatsApp, so we can help you and keep a record of the conversation.
Technical data — standard web server logs, including IP address and browser type, generated automatically when anyone visits a website.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To fulfil your order — performance of a contract.
To provide support, warranty and repairs — performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in supporting what we sell.
To keep accounting and tax records — compliance with a legal obligation.
To keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in running the service safely.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Only where it's needed to do the job:

Stripe — payment processing.
Klarna — where you choose to pay with Klarna. Klarna is a separate data controller for that transaction and applies its own privacy policy.
Couriers — your name, address and contact details so they can deliver your order.
Our hosting provider — which stores the site and its database on our behalf.
Professional advisers and HMRC — where we're required to.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires. Correspondence not tied to an order is kept for up to two years. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Email support@itmonsters.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. Note that we can't delete records we're legally required to keep, such as invoices.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113 — though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
